Frazer-Nash’s Holley Reece-Barkell has been elected as a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) – the highest level of membership with the institution.
Holley, who is EDF TSA Delivery Manager within the company’s Integrated Delivery Channel, is responsible for the technical, operational and commercial delivery of a portfolio of nuclear projects. Her career with Frazer-Nash spans over 13 years, and has included experience as a stress analysis engineer, project manager and technical specialist.
Frazer-Nash Managing Director, Neil McDougall said:
“I am absolutely delighted with this news. What an achievement for Holley. We know that Fellows are required to demonstrate their significant knowledge, experience and commitment to engineering, and Holley excels in this, taking senior responsibility for the successful delivery of many projects within her sector.
“Fellowships are only awarded to those recognised as leaders within the profession and Holley’s role as an influencer will help other young engineers to achieve their potential. We’re both proud and pleased that her skills and expertise have received the recognition that they deserve.”
Holley said:
“Being elected to an IMechE Fellowship is an honour that I’m thrilled to have achieved. I feel that I’m making a valuable contribution to the profession that is helping to change the world, and am committed to developing both my, and my teams’ skills, to meet the challenges and opportunities that the future of engineering offers.
“The support of Frazer-Nash in achieving this has been greatly appreciated, and I hope to ‘pay it forward’ by supporting the development of the next generation of graduate engineers and helping them work towards Chartered Engineer status.”
Frazer-Nash is committed to encouraging professional development within the consultancy, and provides an extensive support network for those at the early stages of their career.
