The new office marks a milestone for the Frazer-Nash business, recognising its growing presence in the area since opening it’s original office in the city 20 years ago, and it’s growing support to key markets in the region, including naval defence. Support by the team based in Plymouth extends to Naval & Radiological Protection Assurance, Naval Nuclear Assurance, Asset Integrity, Nuclear Technology, Submarine and Warship Engineering, and Requirements and Supportability & Reliability Services.
After a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony, Luke Pollard MP met with young professionals to see some of the advance technologies that Frazer-Nash are developing to support UK defence and wider security efforts. He also met members of KBR’s Armed Forces Community Employee Resource Group (ERG) to hear more about the organisations direct support to veterans and reservists.
Sarah Wilkes, Managing Director of Frazer-Nash, introduced Mr Pollard to other members of the growing team and joined him to officially unveil a commemorative plaque to mark the occasion. She said; “Our number one commitment is always to our people, and this great new space creates an environment that allows their creativity and innovative thinking to flourish.
“It also reinforces our focused approach to support our customers directly where the support is needed, something we do right across the UK, and that we enhance through our reach into global capabilities across KBR.”
The visit was completed with a round table event, hosted by KBR’s Max Baldwin, Vice President for Strategic Business Development in KBR’s Government Solutions International business. Mr Pollard was given an overview of KBR’s commitment to provide high quality service accommodation for a third of the British Army through its 35-year Allenby Connaught project – one of the largest ever infrastructure contracts awarded by the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD).
He also learnt more on innovation within the business, including Frazer-Nash’s leading approach to behavioural and psychology science and how this understanding can support customers overcome and achieve their most challenging ambitions.

Frazer-Nash has 15 offices across the UK – growing to over 1400 people nationally, as part of a wider KBR UK footprint of approximately 3500 people.
