Open to organisations from across the breadth of the maritime sector and its component shipping, ports, services, engineering, and leisure marine industries, the Maritime UK website notes that ‘the awards are run by the industry for the benefit of the industry’.
Making the shortlist recognises the breadth and quality of the company's work across the UK’s maritime sector as a trusted supplier delivering work to clients at the highest standards.
Frazer-Nash was also nominated for, and won, the Maritime UK 2022 Employer of the Year award.
Frazer-Nash’s Chief Operating Officer, Rupert Bridges, said:
“Our technical expertise is evidenced in our past successes and ongoing work supporting a wide range of maritime platforms and assets, naval bases and commercial ports, and our extensive involvement across the whole UK submarine enterprise. We are also assisting clients with new challenges for the maritime sector, such as aiding efforts to generate renewable energy through wind, tidal and wave technologies.
“We help our clients in the maritime sector operate at the cutting edge of naval and marine technology, by delivering deep specialist innovative engineering and technology solutions, and providing cross-sector best practice from our energy and transport markets. We were delighted to win Employer of the Year at the Maritime UK 2022 awards, and to be now shortlisted to the final three in the Business of the Year category in 2023 is a real honour.”
The awards take place at the DoubleTree Hilton in Hull on 9 March 2023. Find out more here.
