Six consultants from Frazer-Nash have recently gained Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification from global organisation, the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE).
The Frazer-Nash Consultants, Oliver Bullock, Dave Burton, Andy Miller, Mike Morua, Richard Vaux and Stephen Way, achieved their ASEP certification after undertaking a two-hour examination, in which they were tested on their expertise in systems engineering.
Frazer-Nash Technical Department Head, Gordon Anderson, said:
“ASEP certification is the first in a series of continuing professional development qualifications that can be taken through INCOSE. INCOSE is the world authority on systems engineering, and the ASEP qualification is recognised worldwide in this field.
“To gain the qualification, they had to demonstrate their systems engineering knowledge, competence and experience. Fewer than 83 people in the UK have achieved the ASEP qualification to date, and six of those now work at Frazer-Nash.
“At Frazer-Nash we encourage our people to undertake the ASEP certification, as it not only provides a formal benchmark of their learning and understanding in systems engineering, but helps to assure clients of our systems engineering expertise.
Frazer-Nash is an active member of INCOSE, both in the UK and Australia. The company is on INCOSE’s UK Advisory Board (UKAB), the forum for systems engineering organisations within industry, government and academia to influence the activities that INCOSE UK undertakes, and the best practice that it promotes.
In the UK, rail experts Mike Morua and Karl King were recently presented with INCOSE Outstanding Service Awards, in recognition of their work for its Railway Interest Group.
