Specialist Australian website, HR Daily, recently interviewed Frazer-Nash Senior Engineer, Thomas Bransden for an article discussing how an engineering modelling approach can be used by human resource (HR) professionals.
The case study, 'Applying an engineering model to people decisions', outlines how model-based systems engineering (MBSE) helps provide HR departments with evidence and justification in support of their decision making.
"By showing the connections and interactions within the organisation visually, modelling can really provide 'lightbulb moments' for leaders," suggests Thomas. "It captures the complexity of the links between people and activities and presents them in a simple way."
HR Daily reports on news, developments, guidance, analysis and opinion on the issues and challenges facing human resources professionals.
